Speaker: James Bell of Georgia Taxpayers Alliance, Inc. will speak regarding TSPLOST.
As the July 31 primary approaches, voters are turning their attention to the special election. Referendum 1 ask shall a 1 percent – 10 year sales tax be
imposed to fund various transportation projects in the 10 county Atlanta region. The tax amounts to $8.4 billion.
Georgia Taxpayers Alliance, Inc. (GTA) has been on the front lines educating voters and advocating against the sales tax.
James Bell, director of GTA is scheduled to speak at several upcoming events.
