This Thursday we are fortunate to have Dalton Mayor David Pennington talking about the TIA and taxes. This is from a press release sent out July 02.
Dalton Mayor David Pennington says, “It’s gratifying in a community hit hardest by the recession that we have this encouraging news for our retailers but what’s more encouraging is that our local citizens now have hundreds more dollars per year to spend because our low sales tax reduced their gasoline bills, utility bills, and all other bills that carry sales tax.”
