The Transportation Investment Act of 2010 provides the opportunity for the Atlanta Region to vote as a region for the first time. This vote, the Regional Transportation Referendum, on July 31, 2012 allows residents to vote on a penny sales tax to leverage approximately $8.5 billion to support transportation improvements throughout the region. As a convener on important topics affecting growth and development, the Council for Quality Growth and ULI Atlanta have partnered to present an educational forum on the referendum. Please join us as Tad Leithead shares a regional perspectives on the referendum. The keynote address will be given by The Honorable John Mica, Chairman, House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
